What was the brief?
The ceiling in the child's room had to go in before the furniture company arrived. The wardrobe was to be a made-to-measure built-in, so the ceiling needed reinforcements and had to be matched precisely to the future structure.
What was difficult?
The furniture fitters needed stable, precisely positioned fixing points to install the wardrobe according to the design.
In the wardrobe zone three things came together at once: the shadow gap profile, the recess for the LED strip and the reinforcement for the furniture.
What did we do?
We prepared the reinforcements for the future wardrobe and built the structure so the furniture fitters could come in without any adjustments. Day one: profiles, corners and the LED strip; day two: tensioning the membrane.
We chose a BAUF graphite high-gloss membrane: it strongly reflects light and makes the room look bigger.
How long did installation take?
Two days. Everything was ready for the furniture company's arrival.
What is the result?
The wardrobe went onto the prepared reinforcements without any adjustments, the ceiling kept its perfect geometry, and the LED lighting looks even. The furniture company appreciated the preparation and now works with us on further interiors.
